Tim Laxton and Kelly Laxton are a husband and wife team who are the co-owners of Laxton Physiotherapy based in Fourways Health Centre. They are both experienced physiotherapists who have treated a wide range of conditions for patients of all ages.
Meet Tim Laxton:
Tim completed a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physiotherapy, at The University of Witwatersrand in 2012. He has also completed numerous post-graduate courses to augment his degree, and constantly stays up to date with modern treatment techniques. Tim has previously worked at Linksfield Hospital treating all acute and sub-acute conditions, at St Benedict’s treating a variety of sports conditions, and has had experience seeing OPD/rooms patients and home visit patients. Tim’s interests include running injuries, sports injuries and paediatric chest conditions.
Meet Kelly Laxton:
Kelly also completed a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physiotherapy, at The University of Witwatersrand in 2012. Kelly has previously worked at Fourways Intercare, with the National Gymnastics team, as well as with geriatrics in both frailcare and home environments. Kelly’s interests include pre-natal & post-natal care, modified pilates for pain, back and neck pain and geriatrics.
